When paired with a VTech VSmart enabled device, VTech's VSmart Wire-Free sensors keep you updated with notifications when an active sensor event occurs e.g. front door is opened, so you can relax knowing what's going on at home.
Operating on the dedicated DECT frequency band (1.88-1.9Ghz), VTech's VSmart Wire-Free sensors are not affected by interference; give extended digital range and overall superior performance.
Utilising the latest in Ultra Low Energy (ULE) technology, running on affordable, non-rechargeable batteries, VSmart Wire-Free sensors are easy to install, with no expensive wiring required. The non-rechargeable batteries last up to 1 year and are easily replaced when necessary. VTech VSmart enabled devices also detect when a sensor's batteries are running low, and lets you know via a message on the display.
With VTech VSmart Wire-Free sensors, it's easy to build and maintain your connected home.

Press SOS pendant button when emergency event occurs
Base and Handset (and VSmart Extension Ringer if one is paired to the system) ring and Handset display shows “SOS mode”
If no Base/Handset responds to the alert, Base will call out to external SOS phone number/s and announce the message (SOS phone numbers and message are programmed by the user).
Once a number key is pressed by SOS call receiver then 2-way communication is open with the base speakerphone.
